PIREPs

Introduction to PIREPs

What is a PIREP?

PIREP stands for 'Pilot Information Report', in simple words it is a form which requires you to fill out certain details of the flight you operated. PIREPs are filed through our crew center.

How do I file a PIREP

After completing your flight, to file a PIREP you need certain information about the flight you operated:

  1. Flight number :

  2. Departure ICAO :

  3. Arrival ICAO :

All of the above details can be filled by referring to our route database.

  1. Aircraft name : Select the type/model of the aircraft you flew. For codeshares, head over to the codeshares section.

  2. Flight time : The 2 fields in this, flight time in hours and flight time in minutes have to be filled separately. Your flight time can be obtained through the bottom menu of your in-game (Infinite Flight) screen.

  3. Fuel Used : The fuel used is also available in the bottom menu of the in-game screen. Please note that the value entered should be the amount of fuel used in KG (kilogram), not in lbs (pounds).

In the event that you dump fuel, make sure to subtract the quantity of fuel dumped and file your PIREP as the 'fuel used' category automatically adds the dumped fuel as well.

Bottom menu of the in-game screen

  1. Flight Date : Self explanatory

  2. Multiplier : Select a multiplier if applicable, for more information head over to the multipliers section. Note that PIREPs filed with a multiplier that is not applicable to that particular flight will be denied.

  3. Operator : Details on operator can be found through our route database. Additionaly flight numbers beginning with 'N0' are Norse operated and 'Z0' are Norse UK.

  4. Flight type : Unless operating a special cargo flight (such as an event), flight type is passenger.

  5. Load (PAX) : The amount of passengers ferried on the flight. Note that it is not the weight of the passengers, but the amount of passengers that has to be filled in here.

  6. Baggage : This too, is in KG (kilogram), not in lbs (pounds).

  7. Comments : Here you can enter any extra details regarding the flight. If you have used AP+ during your flight, you must mention that. In all other cases, comments are optional and can usually be left empty.
